Nature Inspired Jewellery
I founded Solveig Lilja Jewellery 7 years ago. My handmade, silver, and beaded jewellery designs can be found in Murano Silver in Stamford. Inspired by the beautiful landscapes of Iceland and the natural world, I strive to make high quality; hypoallergenic; eco-friendly; and sustainable Jewellery.

Each piece of my jewellery is thoughtfully handcrafted with care and attention to detail, giving it its own quiet charm and sense of individuality. This simple, personal approach sets it apart from mass-produced designs and brings a meaningful touch to those who wear it.

Every silver component—from pendants and chains to the smallest findings—are crafted from high-quality sterling silver (99.25%) or pure silver (99.9%). This commitment to using only premium materials ensures that each piece is not only hypoallergenic but also durable and made to last.

Our Story
Hello! I’m Solveig Lilja Smith — designer, creator, and founder of Solveig Lilja Jewellery.
Solveig Lilja Jewellery began nearly seven years ago, a creative passion that grew into a meaningful brand rooted in craftsmanship, nature, and my Icelandic and English heritage.
Each piece I design is handmade using beaded elements and pure or sterling silver, inspired by the beauty of the British natural world — from the changing colours of the seasons to the wildlife I encounter on woodland walks. My Icelandic heritage also plays a role in my work. You'll often see this influence through raw, natural materials like lava rock beads, which reflect the rugged landscapes of my roots. These stones take centre stage in our new men’s collection — grounding, timeless, and full of strength.
Solveig means “pathway of the sun” and just like the name, I hope each piece brings a little pocket of sunshine and happiness into your day. Each piece also carries its own unique, inspired name, making it more than just an accessory — it’s a wearable connection to the natural world.
All of my jewellery is made to the highest standards: hypoallergenic, eco-friendly, and sustainably crafted to feel as good as it looks. You can find and try on the collection at Murano Silver on St Mary’s Street in Stamford (England), owned and lovingly curated by Molly Clegg.
